Criteria
There are a few criteria that go into preparing your Petition.
If you have received a major award in your field, such as a Nobel Prize, an Olympic Medal, or an Academy Award, you already meet the criteria and will qualify. If not, don't worry. There is another way. You will have to meet 3 out of the 11 categories below.

EB-1A Criteria for Individuals in Arts, Business, Education, Sciences & Athletics
You only need to meet 3 out of the 11 criteria.
1. Award
If you've won nationally or internationally recognized awards in your field, that qualifies.
2. Membership
This requirement is met if you are a member of an organization that requires outstanding achievements as judged by recognized experts in the same field.
3. Judging
People who qualify for this criterion have participated as a judge (individually or as a part of a panel) evaluating the work of others.
4. Media
People who qualify for this criterion have published material in professional or major trade publications, or in major media, about you and your work.
5. Scholarly Articles
People who meet this criterion have authored scholarly articles in professional journals or other major media.
6. Original Contributions
If you've created or invented something new — an original technology, or a patent — you'll submit proof of it and its widespread use here.
7. Critical Employment
People who qualify for this criterion can demonstrate they've held a leading role within an organization or establishment with a distinguished reputation.
8. Artistic Exhibition
This category is for people who have had their work displayed at an artistic exhibition.
9. Commercial Success
This category is for people who have had their work achieve commercial success in the performing arts.
10. High Income
If you have a significantly high salary, or significant equity in a VC-backed company, then this category is for you.
11. Comparable Evidence
If you have any other proof of your extraordinary ability, you may submit it under this criterion.
