Criteria

There are a few criteria that go into preparing your visa.

If there is an existing qualified business, then fantastic. If you are coming to the U.S. to set up a new company, then we can begin the entity formation process in parallel to your immigration process by the same trusted law firm.

L-1 Criteria 

 

You must meet all criteria.

Recognized Relationship

There must be a recognized relationship between the business in a foreign country and a business in the United States. This can be a parent, affiliate, subsidiary, or branch relationship.

Doing Business

 

The company must be doing business in the United States and at least one other country, or have plans to do so during the period of the L-1 visa.

One-Year Employment

The employee must also have worked for foreign business for at least one continuous year during the preceding three years.
